Before attempting 3 Ball Calibration please first install:
- Connect RSG One or Nova to power and directly to the computer via the Ethernet cable.
- Launch LMonitor and then press the number 9 key on your keyboard to turn on the camera. Note that the image is rotated 90 degrees and this is normal.
- Press the G key on your keyboard to highlight what the camera sees. Only the ball or 3 balls for calibration should be highlighted. Remove any objects that are highlighted before attempting to calibrate.
- Ball 1 is your tee/ball location on your stance mat. Nova must be set up level with the stance mat surface or a bit higher and 72 inches behind Ball 1 measured from the center of the ball to the center of the stem of the RSG One or Nova. Then looking at the camera's field of view in LMonitor Ball 1 must be centered from top to bottom.
- Ball 2 is then placed 8 inches closer to the impact screen, measured from both ball's centers. Balls 1 and 2 should look like they draw a horizontal line in the camera's field of view.
- Ball 3 is placed 4 inches to the left of Ball 2 when facing the screen.
- Once all 3 balls and the Nova are properly lined up hold the Shift key and press the =+ key then release and then press the letter V and then the letter X.
- You should then see the word SUCCESS on the text screen of LMonitor.
- Close LMonitor and you may now launch the Orion software and go golfing.
NOTE: If you do not see the word SUCCESS after running calibration go through all of the steps above again and pay close attention to proper ball placement. Precision is key here.

Hi Bob,
There is a page, and a video, dedicated to get you in and started with Orion Live. In the video, around the 2 minute mark, it discusses adding on-line players as well as local players to a match.
