Before attempting 3 Ball Calibration please first install:
-
- Connect RSG Pro or Galaxy to power and directly to the computer via the Ethernet cable.
- Launch LMonitor and then press the number 9 key on your keyboard to turn on the camera. Note that the image is rotated 90 degrees and this is normal.
- Press the G key on your keyboard to highlight what the camera sees. Only the ball or 3 balls for calibration should be highlighted. Remove any objects that are highlighted before attempting to calibrate.
- Ball 1 is your tee/ball location. This spot is roughly 30 inches in front of the RSG Pro toward the impact screen. When you click in the camera's field of view in LMonitor you will see a coordinate pop into the text window. Keep clicking in the camera window until you locate 540, 270. This is where Ball 1 goes.
- Ball 2 is then placed 8 inches closer to the impact screen, measured from both ball's centers. Balls 1 and 2 should look like they draw a straight target line to the impact screen.
- Ball 3 is placed 4 inches to the left of Ball 2 when facing the impact screen, again measured center to center.
- Press the 1 and 2 keys on your keyboard to toggle between the two internal cameras just to make sure both are on.
- Once all 3 balls are properly lined up and cameras are both running hold the Shift key and press the =+ key then release and press the letter V and then the letter X.
- You should then see the word SUCCESS on the text screen of LMonitor.
NOTE: If you do not see the word SUCCESS after running calibration go through all of the steps above again and pay close attention to proper ball placement. Precision is key here.
