To open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag) in Windows 11, the quickest method is to use the Run command: press Win + R, type dxdiag, and hit Enter.
The most important items are “Windows 11 64” and at least 16 GB RAM. The example above has 32768 MB, which is equivalent to 32 GB, approximately twice the minimum.
Your PC might have only one Display tab or two Display tabs. The example above has Display 1 and Display 2. If Display 2 is present, select Display 2. The most important metric is the Display Memory (VRAM) marked with #5 above. In this example, the graphics card has 6 GB of VRAM (6002 MB – is roughly the equivalent of 6 GB). We recommend 4 GB, but some computers may perform OK with less.
