Additional Padding for the Lower Cross Bar

Also, thanks for letting me know the ball isn't getting under the screen.
 
Unfortunately, the padding built into that region of the screen is fixed.   I don't think it has an opening, like a sleeve, that would allow for additional padding to be inserted.   I'll work with the design team to see what they can do to improve the design.
 
In the meantime, I propose adding additional padding along the front edge of the horizontal pole that runs along the bottom of the screen.   I think it can be attached to the horizontal bar with zip ties such that it protects the front side of the pole while still being behind the bottom of the screen.  Effectively, increasing the amount of padding.
 
We can order additional padding if you like. Here is a photo showing the thickness of the foam.
 
       
 
The additional foam can be placed on the front side of the pole, going across the floor at the base of the screen.  It can be attached using zip-ties, and then the screen would be draped over the top of the foam.    Similar to these photos below:
 
Cut the foam to length along the bottom of the sim.
 
      
 
      
 
      
 
Please note the exact screen model in this photo may be different from the screen model in your sim.  But the idea of draping the bottom of the screen over the foam should be the same.
