I did an internet speed test, and we saw approximately 20 Mbps download and just under 5 Mbps upload. These speeds are slow. If your internet service provider is experiencing fluctuations, it might explain why the game freezes when attempting to communicate with the servers on the internet.
We recommend at least 10 Mbps for both download and upload.
If the system is working for you, then no need to make changes. I just wanted to explain one of the factors that's affecting your sim.
Once this message appears, it will persist until you exit the game and restart.
This can be caused by one of several links through the communication chain. Possibly an unreliable Wi-Fi connection from the PC to a booster (if you have one), your local router, your router to your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
The connection speed may be too slow (below 10 Mbps), or the connection may be unreliable, with the occasional temporary interruption.
Mitigation strategies include replacing slow or weak Wi-Fi with a wired Ethernet connection. An alternative is to play golf in Offline mode, where the reliability issue is avoided as shots are not uploaded to the cloud.
