- Position the enclosure at least 12" behind the screen before the closest object on the wall behind the screen. The screen will flex and stretch with golf shots, and we don't want the ball hitting any objects behind the screen
- Select a preferred tee location between 8' and 10' from the screen. I recommend 9'. A tee location closer than 8' will feel too tight for most golfers. The tee location should be centered on the screen for ease of use for both right-handed and left-handed golfers.
- Consult the table on page 3 to determine the setback distance from the ball at the tee location to the setback for the launch monitor. The setback would be 30.5" if the launch monitor is mounted at 9' 6" height. The launch monitor will typically be 11' to 12' away from the screen.
- The position of the projector will vary depending on the model and the individual throw angle of that model. Under rare conditions, the projector may be close to the launch monitor, but this is not common. They can be nearly adjacent to one another without causing a problem.
