RSG Mobile - More Accurate Approach to Measuring Setback

Problem: 

I am having difficulty getting an accurate measurement of the distance between the RSG Mobile on a tripod and the screen or the hitting net.

Solution: 

I recommend manually entering the distance.    During the setup procedure, you can skip the interactive measurement (SKIP --> DONE --> GOT IT), and you will see a button on the top right corner with three dots (...).    Select that button and look for the Enter Distance.   At this point, you can manually enter the distance from your screen (or net) to the phone.  This approach has the advantage of reusing the distance from session to session without having to measure each time.   Please use a tape measure.

For most customers who have a fixed net and hit turf, they will likely be placing the phone in the same position.  Hence, entering the distance will give you control and consistency.

Give that a try and see if your distances have improved.

If your distances are still too short, you can adjust the entered distance without actually moving the phone.  Try entering a distance that is 6” or 12” inches further and take some test shots to see the carry distance.    This will have the effect of increasing your velocity calculation, and therefore, your carry distances will increase.
